how to exhibit
If you are interested in showing your work at the CAA, there are several ways you can participate!
1. become a member
This is by far the best option for new artists and folks who are looking to showcase their work with other artists on a more regular basis! The CAA hosts several exhibits and events each year that are open exclusively to Members of the CAA, including The Gallery Shop, Fine Arts on the Lawn, and The Holiday Show & Sale. Click below for more information about the benefits of a CAA Membership, and to purchase your membership online!
2. Enter a juried show
The CAA hosts two annual juried shows that are open to artists of all media. Our Regional Juried Show is open to all NY State artists, and our National Juried Exhibition is open to all United States residents! Find out more about these two opportunities below.
3. submit a solo show proposal
If you are interested in being considered for a solo show at the CAA, please send the following materials to [email protected]:
- 10 images from a recent body of work
- CV / Artist Resume
- Artist Statement
- Show Proposal (please indicate any room or space requirements, etc.)

Slots for Solo and Group exhibits are not always plentiful from year to year, so please be patient and know that we retain all submissions and review them during our yearly planning period to be considered for inclusion. Before submitting, we suggest that you take some time to visit our gallery, and get to know our organization. We are looking for artists that want to maintain a relationship with our gallery that will be mutually beneficial and supportive!
