The National Juried Art Exhibition is one of the Cooperstown Art Association’s longest-running and most prestigious annual exhibitions, showcasing fine artists from across the United States!
This year’s exhibition features the work of 105 artists representing 10 states, highlighting wide- ranging contemporary artistic practices.
Serving as Juror of Selection and Awards, Elizabeth Keithline reviewed submissions from across the country and selected 117 works for inclusion in the exhibition. Keithline is an internationally exhibited artist known for her innovative wire sculptures exploring themes of technology, the built environment, and climate. Since developing her signature technique in 1996, she has expanded her practice to include sculpture, installation, fiber art, public art, and collaborative “shadow paintings” derived from her sculptural work. Her work has been featured in solo exhibitions nationwide and reviewed in The New York Times, Sculpture Magazine, and The Boston Globe. The resulting exhibition spans drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, and sculpture. More than a dozen awards will be presented during the Preview Party.
