| Gallery A holds a group exhibit by the Oakroom Artists, an invitational art association based in the Albany Schenectady area. The Oakroom member artists work in a variety of media including painting, printmaking, sculpture and fibers. Art teachers, art directors, college instructors and commercial artists are among the present members. Participating artists: Elizabeth Apgar-Smith, David Arsenault, David Austin, Laurie Greenbaum-Beitch, Beverly Bondley, Laura Catullo, Karen J. Cooper, Joseph Daniel, George Dirolf, Constance Dodge, Stu Eichel, Margaret A. Foley, John C. Hampshire, Paul Kant, Gail Kort, Joan Krathaus, Carolou Kristofik, Doretta Miller, Virginia Ward Mills, Lori Lupe-Pelish, Janet F. Pieniazek, Elaine Pospisil, Helga Prichard, Mary Ellen Riell, Karen K. Rosasco, Maureen Saul, Tim Sauter, Tom Schottman, Gary Shankman, Trudi Smith. This show will be on display through October 31st. | |
| In conjunction with the Oakroom Artists’ exhibit, the CAA is also displaying Luck of the Draw in Gallery B. You can try your luck at this truly grassroots fundraiser celebrating 80 years of art at the CAA. Luck of the Draw is an exhibit and ticket drawing that involves a little bit of luck and a lot of beautiful artwork! 80 local and regional artists have generously donated a piece of their original artwork and now individual artists and patrons are needed to buy tickets to this fun new event. 80 tickets were available for $80 a piece and less than 20 remain. Luck of the Draw will be on display through October 18th and will conclude with the much-anticipated Final Ticket Drawing. The Ticket Drawing will be held Sunday October 19th at 2pm in the Ballroom Gallery. | |

The Cooperstown Art Association galleries are located at 22 Main Street, Cooperstown, NY diagonally across the street from the National Baseball Hall of Fame. Admission is free and open to the public.
