Artists of all skill levels are invited to sketch from a live model without an instructor. This group is perfect for those looking for a creative outlet or to hone their drawing skills! Please call the CAA before attending.
8-Week Collage & Mixed Media with Dianne Kull

Gather up those old photos/images/pages and other small things you find so appealing, come to our classroom and make art! This class will start with several different techniques for creating backgrounds and transfers, then progress to arranging and pasting your images and items on the backgrounds you have made. Collage is a very forgiving art. It's fun and requires no formal art skills, so sign up and expect to unleash your creative potential!

8-Week Healing Arts Program with Sue Holmes and Mary Nolan

For cancer patients and survivors. With weekly sessions, the Healing Arts Program uses art as a means to foster creativity and allow participants a safe outlet for their fears, desires, hopes and sometimes for their grief. Drawing, painting, writing and sculpture can give vent to powerful emotions and release feelings of stress, regardless of the participant's artistic skills. No previous art experience is necessary for this free program.
8-Week Watercolor Landscape Class with W. Ralph Murray

For the experienced student, this landscape watercolor class explores the specifics of watercolor technique and is ideal for those looking to sharpen their skills. Elements such as value, color and texture will be discussed.

8-Week Beginning Watercolor Class with Elaine Wentworth

Maximum of 14 students in each class
In her 8 week course, ”Beginning Watercolor” Elaine guides the students through the basic techniques to gain confidence in this elusive medium. Elaine demonstrates at each session, first with limited color and simple compositions, progressing to full color using not more than 7 or 8 different pigments. Class time includes individuals and group critiques.

8-Week Plein Air Oil Painting Class with Mary Nolan

Maximum of 8 students
Open to all levels of skill, this class is taught onsite with the location changing each week. Students are given the opportunity to learn the techniques of oil painting while working from life.

4-Week Pen & Ink Class with W.Ralph Murray

This class explores the techniques and possibilities of pen & ink as a medium. It is open to beginners but some drawing experience is encouraged. Students will use a quill pen, india ink and bristol paper.
